Five States Livestock Auction has been operating in Union County, New Mexico, since the 1950's. It was sold to the current owners in December, 1989, and had its first sale in January, 1990. Since that first sale over 30 years ago, Five States Livestock Auction has been an active supporter of local 4H clubs, FFA, and many other student activities. Not only does Five States Livestock Auction contribute to the youth but also to the local economy as most supplies and services are contracted locally.

Here at Five States Livestock Auction, we believe that customers, large and small, should receive the highest quality service available. Our buyers and sellers are our biggest asset and we are dedicated to serving your needs. Our top priority is to get you the best possible price for your cattle. You can help us bring the best possible price by giving your cattle vaccinations and being honest in the vaccinations that you gave. When your cattle perform well for the buyers, they will be more likely to come back and purchase your cattle again. A return buyer is the best thing that could happen to a producer. Our job is to make sure that all cattle bring fair market value in the sale ring, however, individual cattle prices will vary since no two animals are alike.
